JanetLAFFERTY(nee Barr) Peacefully at Hairmyres Hospital on 15th September 2020. Janet, much loved wife of Rodney, sisters, Barbara, Ruby, Marjorie, and brother Jim. Aunt to nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank staff at Hairmyres Hospital for the care and attention received. A special thanks to neighbours for their continued support and to friends who shared her love of life. Janet's service took place at South Lanarkshire Crematorium on Tuesday 29th September 2020.

We lost a special member of our family. A strong, fiercely independent woman who did it her way. Janet was a great role model for our young family members who were introduced to the arts from theatres, ballet, piano, key board, photography and drum lessons. A real social butterfly who loved life to the full, so sadly missed by family and friends.
